Explore the Merchants Mall, where you’ll find everything quilt, fiber, wearable, and textile artists – as well as home sewers – could wish for. Enjoy an inspiring showcase of quilt, garment, and fiber art exhibitions, along with exciting quilt and wearable art competitions featuring prize awards.

The festival also offers a wide variety of workshops and lectures led by top instructors, plus engaging demonstrations throughout the Merchants Mall.

The Hampton Roads Convention Center is conveniently located just off I-64 at Exit 263, and is also easily reached by Routes 258 and 134.

Driving Directions:

You will find the Hampton Roads Convention Center conveniently located about 20 minutes from the Newport News-Williamsburg Airport, 30 minutes from Norfolk International Airport, and just off Interstate 64.

Heading West on I-64 (from Norfolk): Take Exit 263-B (W. Mercury Boulevard/Hampton Coliseum) and turn right at end of the ramp. Continue straight until the first light and turn right onto Coliseum Drive. Go approximately ¼ mile to the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

Heading East on I-64 (from Richmond): Take Exit 263 (Mercury Boulevard/James River Bridge). Turn left at the end of the ramp (following 258 North) onto Mercury Boulevard and continue straight for approximately ¼ mile to Coliseum Drive. Turn right onto Coliseum Drive and go approximately ¼ mile to the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

Heading East on I-664 (from Suffolk/Portsmouth): Merge left onto I-64 West. Take Exit 263-B (W. Mercury Boulevard/Hampton Coliseum) and turn right at end of the ramp. Continue straight until the first light and turn right onto Coliseum Drive. Go approximately ¼ mile to the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

Transportation By Air:

Hampton, Virginia is served by Norfolk International Airport (20 miles from the show), Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (12 miles from the show), and Richmond International Airport (69 miles from show).

Airport Ground Transportation:

Taxi cab, Uber or Lyft services are the most convenient mode of transportation to all Hampton hotels upon your arrival to the Norfolk International Airport. Taxis are located just outside the baggage claim lobby.  A number of local taxi cab companies also serve Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. Taxis park in a holding area at the west end of the terminal.

By Train:
